Q2 How did the Science Fair change your life? |
Aside from the obvious honing of skills in the scientific method, more importantly SEFMD exposed me to so many people that made such an important impact on my life. Connecting with fellow students, teachers, judges, science fair personnel both locally and internationally was an experience of a life time |
Q3 What did you like the most about the Science Fair? |
The people. Some of whom I have known now for over 30 years. |
Q4 What career advice do you wish someone told you when you were younger? Career advise you wish to share? |
Enjoy your free time. Pursuing acareer in science/engineering/medicine is time consuming. |
Q5 Any specific advice on becoming involved in Science and Engineering? |
Reach out to people in fields thatyou have interest. Ask to observe/shadow them in their workplace (the worst they can say is no). Find a mentor who can help give you perspective. Be persistent…and patient. |
