The 59th Science &
Engineering Fair of Metropolitan Detroit (SEFMD) was held today, March 9,
2016 at Cobo Center. 1,149 students from 110 schools
in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties competed at SEFMD, one of the longest
running and largest science fairs in the world. The Senior Grand Award
winners will compete at the state Science Fair on April 9 at the Kettering
University in Flint, Michigan and at the International Science Fair May 8-13 in
Phoenix, Arizona.
