MEDIA RELEASE FORM (AS OF 10/18/2026)

Participant acknowledges and agrees that Broadcom Foundation (“Broadcom”) is a sponsor of the Science and Engineering Fair of Metro Detroit (SEFMD) (the “Science Fair” and that Broadcom may record, photograph, and film during the Science Fair, or may receive recordings, photographs, and/or film taken by or on behalf of SEFMD. and such recordings, photographs, and film (whether taken by Broadcom and/or SEFMD) may capture or include Participant (the “Materials”). Participant, and its legal parent or guardian, hereby authorize and grant Broadcom and its affiliates, employees, representatives, and agents the right, license, and permission to use, publish, post, display, create derivative works of, and reproduce the Materials, along with Participant’s name, biographical information (which may include, without limitation, age, school, and gender), geographical information, images, likenesses, voice, and all other attributes of Participant’s personality and appearance to the extent incorporated into the Materials, in promotional materials and other media related to the Science Fair and Broadcom’s participation and sponsorship of the Science Fair, including, but not limited to, Broadcom’s websites and social media channels and accounts. Broadcom may modify, adapt, alter, crop, or edit the Materials and may combine them with other content and materials, including, without limitation, information of other persons. Participant waives any right to inspect or approve the Materials or any finished materials that incorporate the Materials, and any right to royalties or other compensation in connection with the Materials. Participant acknowledges that the Materials are and shall remain the sole property of Broadcom, and that Participant has no ownership interest in them. Broadcom has no obligation to use, or exercise its rights in or to, the Materials. Participant releases and discharges Broadcom, and its affiliates and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensees, and assigns, from any and all claims, demands, and liability arising out of or in connection with the use of the Materials, including any claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or infringement of moral rights.
