Judge information for 2020-2021 Fair

Judges will be asked to select their availability for judging on the judge application.  All judges should complete and/or update their information on the current application.  The application is for category judges AND those judging professional awards.  Please note:  Since the fair is virtual this year, all judges will be required to attend a training session (virtually), to be scheduled during the last week of February.

There will be two different judging sessions, all done virtually:

   Session 1 occurs from Thursday, March 4, 2021, starting at 8:00 AM and continues until Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 5:00 PM.  Judges will review entries submitted online (includes a video and pdf of a 'project presentation' and score them.  Each judge will review 20-25 projects.  Most of the judging should occur on Thursday and Friday, with Saturday and Sunday for final cleanup.

   Session 2 occurs on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 9:00 AM to noon and will involve interviews with the top 50 senior division students.  These interviews will be scheduled in 15 minute increments and judges will be preassigned to particular students at particular times.  A special judge orientation session (in addition to the training) will occur at 8:30 AM

Please provide the information requested below if you desire to be a judge.  If you have judged before, we still need you to go through the application.  We will contact you after we receive your application,, by e-mail (preferably) or regular mail.

Judges may be expected to help with multiple categories and/or divisions.

Professional award judges will also carry out their judging (done virtually) starting SUNDAY, March 7 at 6:00 PM and will conclude at 5:00  PM on Tuesday, March 9.  The preferred day for Professional award judging is on Monday, March 8 from 8 AM to 10 PM.
  All judges, even professional award organization judges, will need to register online to obtain a username/password to access the student information.  We can not longer accept just a list of judge names. nbsp;
